Alfredo Rodríguez, PhD is a Cytogeneticist from National University of Mexico, and a member of the Mexican Board of Genetics. He did his posdoctoral fellowship at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School in the Laboratory of Alan D'Andrea. Currently, his laboratory focuses on the study of inherited bone marrow failure syndromes via application of systems biology perspective including clinical data, single cell resolution technologies, and mathematical modeling.
In the talk he will cover his recent exciting results from genomics, single-cell RNAseq and proteomics. He will show how DNA repair deficiency affects the cells in the whole organism ranging from embryogenesis to adult hematopoiesis.
