HiLIFE webinar / Viikki Monday Seminar: Alexander Borodavka
Alex is biochemist with an interest in mechanistic studies of RNA virus replication. His research focuses on unpicking how viruses package RNA genomes and assemble to form infectious particles using single-molecule fluorescence biophysics, biochemistry, and molecular virology approaches. His group aims to understand how viral RNAs and RNA-binding proteins have evolved to provide the finely tuned dynamic cooperativity that underlies genome packaging and virus assembly.

Sarah ButcherBiostatistics drop-in workshop
The next workshop is on Wednesday 30th November, at 13:00-15:00 in Biomedicum 2, 6th floor Olohuone. Come when you can, stay as long as you need to. Note that you may end up waiting a while for your turn, especially early on in the session. We will hold one more session before Christmas, at the same time on 14th December, and resume again after the holidays.
Bring:
- your computer
- your data
- your questions
and we biostatisticians will be on hand to help and guide.
Registration is not required, but you can help us prepare for your questions by filling in this form. The workshops are open to any researcher at the university's Medical Faculty, HUS or FIMM.
For more in-depth questions, please book a one-on-one consultation session using this e-form where we will have time to go into more detail.
