Research Programs
Biomedicum Helsinki is a medical research and education center where basic researchers and clinical physicians work closely together under one roof. Biomedicum Helsinki brings together units of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Helsinki as well as researchers involved in patient care at HUS, creating unique conditions for joint research projects. Collaboration is further strengthened by internationally evaluated research programs in which researchers from different organizations jointly develop new solutions for medical research and patient care.
Research Services
Biomedicum Helsinki houses several core units that provide research services, primarily serving research groups on the Meilahti campus.
Biomedicum Helsinki also offers services to institutes, research groups, and companies outside the campus, who can make use of the services or acquire their products.
