Biomedicum Helsinki aims to promote open communication across organizational boundaries and support collaborative research. The communication channels of Biomedicum Helsinki include the website, intranet, and digital information displays.
Communications are managed jointly by the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation and Real estate company Biomedicum Helsinki.
In addition, both the property company and the foundation use these communication channels for their own purposes.
The digital information displays, website, and intranet may be used to publish announcements of internal seminars and doctoral dissertation defenses, as well as other scientific communications.
Photography and videography at Biomedicum Helsinki
Permission for photography and videography must be requested from Real Estate Company Biomedicum Helsinki by email at property.office@biomedicum.fi. When requesting a photography or videography permit, please specify the date and time, the desired location, and the person or subject to be photographed.

All event, seminar, and doctoral dissertation defense announcements can be published free of charge on the Biomedicum Helsinki website and intranet. Please submit website announcements to the Biomedicum Helsinki Foundation, emilia.carlsson@biomedicum.fi.
Digital information displays can be used to show images, videos, PDFs, or HTML content. Please submit separate files for portrait and landscape displays. Announcements submitted for display on the information screens must be pre-formatted according to the following dimensions.
- Portrait display: 1080 × 1920 px
- Landscape display: 1920 × 1080 px
- The name of the event
- Date and time
- Location
- Organizer
- Registration instructions or a website
- Any other relevant information
