About Dr. Mathias Wilhelm:
Dr. Wilhelm is a bioinformatician specializing in proteomics and mass spectrometry. He leads the Bioinformatics group at the Chair of Proteomics and Bioanalytics at the TUM School of Life Sciences, where he focuses on developing computational tools that support experimental scientists in data analysis, integration, and interpretation.
His work includes:

Development of ProteomicsDB for large-scale proteomics data integration

Advancing machine learning and deep learning applications in proteomics

Contributing to peptide property prediction tools such as Prosit

Supporting studies on drug-target interactions and treatment responses
