Decoding Cellular Ecosystems and Developmental States in Cancer

Chloé Beate Steen, PhD, is a group leader at Oslo University Hospital, where she leads the Cancer Biology in Silico group within the Department of Medical Genetics. Her research develops computational approaches for dissecting the cellular composition and organization of tumors, with a particular focus on tumor microenvironments, lymphoma, and clinically relevant cancer cell states. She has contributed to widely used computational methods including CIBERSORTx, EcoTyper and CytoSPACE, and applies these to understand tumor biology and treatment response.
