Call for alumni mentors for TRANSMED students
Are you an alum of the University of Helsinki from the master’s programme in
Translational Medicine, Neuroscience or Genetics and Molecular Biosciences?
We are now looking for alumni mentors for our students – could it be you?
With your input, we hope to provide students with contacts in working life and insight regarding life beyond graduation. For you, mentoring offers a great opportunity to share your work life and career path experience, and to get to know new students interested in your field and meet putative future colleagues!
As an alumni mentor, you would meet a group of 4-6 students a couple of times during both spring and autumn terms – the length of your commitment would be for one year. The schedules and formats of these meetings are flexible and can be agreed with the group. We are happy to support planning the first sessions.
Your current occupation can be e.g. in private sector or governmental organizations, or you can be an academic researcher at any level of your career.
