Corona info March 18, 2020
Due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic operations within Biomedicum Helsinki (BMH) are restricted according to guidelines by University of Helsinki and HUS Helsinki University Hospital. Updated guidelines are available at links below and main pages of UH and HUS.
Teaching activities in BMH space are largely cancelled, see dean’s guide 17.3. Research activities are organized when possible remotely. However, experimental work is possible to continue in a restricted fashion and taking into account the general precautions.
Regarding Biomedicum Helsinki space
- Doors into the Biomedicum Helsinki 1 -building are open between 8 am and 6 pm, but gates from lobby are closed until at least April 13,2020
- The cafeteria is open 7:30-4:30 until at least April 13.
- Meetings of over 10 people prohibited
- HiLIFE lab animal center is not starting new experiments
